What is there to find?
In ConnectR you can find a heap of inspiration for all your future trips, without needing to become a member. Photos, videos, travel anecdotes, interesting links…in short, everything you need to be well-prepared for your travels.
Seek and you shall find!
In ConnectR you can search in a number of different ways: via different tag clouds, the world map, the media browser on the home page or simply by using the search function.
Tag clouds
The bigger the destination in the tag cloud, the more information there is about it. This means that you can see at a glance which destinations are the most popular. Thanks to tags, which are added to the different media, you can search further inside ConnectR to find what you are looking for.

World map
Searching via the world map is easy: the markers show which destinations have been reviewed with photos, videos or anecdotes. Click for a preview and you’ll discover exactly what is available for which destination.

Media browser
The media browser not only shows previews of recently added photos, videos or travel anecdotes but also indicates highly-rated, and therefore popular, additions.

Useful links
Relevant links can be added for each destination. These can range from links to the best café or the most impressive museum to a link to a travel Wiki.

With your personal ConnectR travel guide, you can gather and arrange all the most interesting bits of information. Select photos from the most beautiful places; add interesting background information, good addresses, useful tips…in short: all the things that really interest you and not an ounce more.
What can be included?
You can include an unlimited amount of photos, travel anecdotes, links and other tips in your travel guide. Above all, when you add an item, you can also add your own personal comments. Videos cannot be included.
Adding an item to your travel guide is very simple. Click on ‘add to travel guide’ and the selected item will be inserted into your travel guide. Once all your chosen items have been added, you can organize them as you wish.
Finished making your travel guide? Print if off and take it away with you; very handy once you’re at your destination.
Don’t forget to share your experiences afterwards using ConnectR. This way other people can use your information and photos for their travel guide.

Photos
To add photos, go to ‘My ConnectR’ and click on the tab ‘add item’. Fill in all the fields and add tags to ensure that others can easily find your photo. Click on ‘submit’, and voilà, your photo is on ConnectR!

Videos
To upload a video, go to ‘My ConnectR’ and first enter all the details: the destination, description and tags. Then upload your video.

Travel anecdotes
Would you like to explain a bit about where you have been? Very easy. Go to ‘My ConnectR’, identify the destination that you are going to write about, give your report a title and start telling your story. Also add tags, so that your anecdotes can be easily found.

Links
You can add useful links to all the destinations. Do you know a hip club or a great shop, or would you like to add the link to the tourist information office? All is possible by simply clicking on ‘add a link’.

Intros
There is always something left to say about any destination. Therefore, as a member of ConnectR, you can write an intro and any other member can add to it, just as you can with a Wiki. Do you spot some incorrect information? Then log in and correct it.

Community
The ConnectR is a platform for and by travellers. Anybody can help build it up. By reacting to photos, videos or travel anecdotes, you can add your own tips or simply express your opinion.

Rating
As a member you can rate everything that is added to ConnectR. Do you think a particular photo of New York is fantastic? Well, you can award it 5 stars. Photos, videos or stories with the highest rating appear automatically at the top of the list.
